There are several options to quickly access all or specific Clideo tools.
Open in your browser
In your browser, go to https://clideo.com/tools and select the tool you need.
Access tools via your profile
To access certain tools from your profile, do the following:
- Click the Clideo logo at the top left to open My projects.
- Click the + New project button and select one of the available options:
- Click the Create video button or select one of the canvas presets to create a project in Video Editor.
- Select one of the featured tools to create a project in the chosen tool.
- Click All tools to go to the page with all Clideo tools.
Create a desktop shortcut
You can create a browser shortcut to any tool on your desktop. To quickly create a shortcut in any browser, do the following:
- In your browser, open https://clideo.com/tools and go to the tool you need.
- Select the entire URL in the address bar.
- Drag and drop it to the desktop.
Create a web app shortcut
You can access any of the Clideo tools on your computer via the start menu, launcher, or home screen by creating a Clideo web app shortcut.
This shortcut allows you to open the tool in a separate window, similar to a native application. In most cases, if you are signed in, you will remain automatically signed in to the web app as well.
Chrome
To create a web app shortcut using the Chrome browser on Windows or Mac, do the following:
- In Google Chrome, open https://clideo.com/tools and go to the tool you need.
- Click the three-dot menu ⋮ in the top-right corner of the browser.
- Select Cast, Save, and Share > Install Page as App...
- In the pop-up window, enter the name for the shortcut.
- Click Install. Once installed, an icon for the web app will be added to the Start Menu on Windows, Launchpad on Mac, or home screen on a mobile phone.
- (Optional) To uninstall the web app shortcut, in a new Chrome tab, open chrome://apps, right-click the Clideo icon, select Uninstall, and then confirm the removal.
Microsoft Edge
To create a web app shortcut using the Microsoft Edge browser on Windows, do the following:
- In Microsoft Edge, open https://clideo.com/tools and go to the tool you need.
- Click the three-dot menu ⋮ in the top-right corner of the browser.
- Select Settings and more > Apps > Install this site as an app. Once installed, an icon for the web app will be added to the Start Menu.
- (Optional) To uninstall the web app shortcut, in a new Microsoft Edge tab, open edge://apps, right-click the Clideo icon, select Uninstall, and then confirm the removal.
Safari
To create a web app shortcut using the Safari browser on Mac, do the following:
- In Safari, open https://clideo.com/tools and go to the tool you need.
- Click the Share button in the toolbar.
- Select Add to Dock and click Add. Once installed, an icon for the web app will be added to the Dock and Launchpad.
- (Optional) To uninstall the web app shortcut, in the Launchpad, click and hold the app icon until it starts wiggling, and click the X button that appears.
Access tools from the result page
After exporting the project, you can open the result file in a new tool of your choice. To transfer your result file to a new tool, under Continue in…, do one of the following:
- Click one of the featured icons to transfer the file to the newly selected tool.
- Click the three-dot icon to see other tools and choose the new one.
