You can manage the snapping and ripple editing modes in the timeline settings.
- The snapping feature helps align elements. When dragging the yellow handles of an element, you can snap to the edge of another element. By default, the snapping feature is enabled.
- The ripple editing feature helps you maintain the timing between project elements when you remove or trim. By default, the ripple editing feature is disabled.
To toggle the features on or off, click the Timeline Settings icon at the bottom left of the canvas and toggle the corresponding feature on or off.
You can also scale the timeline to view the entire project or zoom in on specific details. To zoom in or out, pinch inward or outward with two fingers on the timeline.
