You can adjust the size of different areas in Video Editor to make more room for the tools you're working with. Simply drag the borders between the panels to customize your workspace.
Resize the timeline
To make the timeline taller or shorter, hover over its top border until the resize cursor appears. Then click and drag the border up or down.
Resize the options panel
To change the width of the options panel, select any tool from the left sidebar, and hover over the right border of the panel, then click and drag it left or right to make the panel narrower or wider.
Adjust the canvas area
The canvas area automatically adjusts to the available space when you resize the timeline or options panel. This lets you make more room for the video preview or other editing tools.
Your workspace layout is saved automatically and will be used across other projects as well. These settings are preserved until you clear your browser cookies.
