How to download files from Clideo?

Clideo lets you download files exported with Clideo tools or save individual media files from your Video Editor project.

Download a media file from a Video Editor project

In Video Editor, you can download individual video, image, or audio files from your project without exporting it.

1. In the navigation sidebar, click Media.
2. Hover over the file thumbnail you want to save.
3. Click the Download icon at the bottom right of the thumbnail.

The file will be downloaded directly to your device.

Download an exported file from the result page

Once the export is complete, you can download the exported file from the result page.

• To save the file to your device, click Download.
• To save the file to your Google Drive or Dropbox storage account, hover over or click the arrow to the right of the Download button and select an option of your choice.

Download an exported file from My Projects

If you are a registered or premium user, Clideo keeps your previously exported files in My projects for a set period of time, so you can access them later.

1. Sign in to Clideo.
2. Click My Projects at the top.
3. Find the project you need, click the three-dot icon, then select Download.
4. You will proceed to the result page, where you can do one of the following:
   • To save the file to your device, click Download.
   • To save the file to your Google Drive or Dropbox storage account, hover over or click the arrow to the right of the Download button.

Download an exported file in the iOS app

In the Clideo iOS Video Editor, you can currently download only the exported file.

1. After editing the project, tap the Export icon at the top right and select one of the export settings.

2. Tap Save and wait for the process to finish. Do not lock the screen or switch to other apps during the saving process. Depending on the selected export option, your video duration, and applied settings, this process can take up to several minutes. You can tap Cancel at the bottom to stop the export process and get back to the editing screen.
3. The downloaded file will be saved to your Photos.
4. Once you have saved the file, you can do one of the following:
   • To preview the saved file, play the video.
   • To return to editing, tap the Back icon at the top left.
   • To finish and view all your projects, tap Done at the top right.
   • To share the file, select one of the sharing buttons or tap the ... icon to see other options.
