Clideo makes it easy to download your exported file on the Clideo website and in the iOS Video Editor app.
Download from the website
After exporting
Once you have exported the project, on the result page, you can save your project right away:
- To save the file to your device, click Download.
- To save the file to your Google Drive or Dropbox storage account, hover over or click the arrow to the right of the Download button and select an option of your choice.
Save from My projects
If you are a registered or premium user, Clideo keeps all your projects in My projects. The projects are kept in your profile for a specified period of time.
To save the project you have previously exported, do the following:
- Sign in to Clideo.
- Go to clideo.com/account/projects or click the Clideo logo at the top left to open My Projects.
- Point to the project you need, click the three dots icon, and then select Download.
- You will proceed to the result page, where you can do one of the following:
- To save the file to your device, click Download.
- To save the file to your Google Drive or Dropbox storage account, hover over or click the arrow to the right of the Download button.

Download from the iOS Video Editor app
If you're using the Clideo iOS Video Editor, do the following to save the file to your device:
After editing the project, tap the Export icon at the top right and select one of the export settings.
- Tap Save and wait for the process to finish. Do not lock the screen or switch to other apps during the saving process. Depending on the selected export option, your video duration, and applied settings this process can take up to several minutes. You can tap Cancel at the bottom to stop the export process and get back to the editing screen.
- The downloaded file will be saved to your Photos.
- Once you have saved the file, you can do one of the following:
- To preview the saved file, play the video.
- To return to editing, tap the Back icon at the top left.
- To finish and view all your projects, tap Done at the top right.
- To share the file, select one of the sharing buttons or tap the ... icon to see other options.
