When you export the project in Video Editor, you can select one of the export settings to specify the quality of your final video:
- 480p (Standard quality)
- 720p (Standard quality)
- 1080p (High quality, FHD)
- 2160p (High quality, 4K)
- GIF (for projects up to 30 seconds)
The numerical value defines the resolution in pixels for the smallest side of your video; the other side is calculated based on the aspect ratio of your canvas. The higher the number, the better the resolution, the higher the picture quality, and the larger the file size.
When choosing the export setting, also try to match it with the resolution of the uploaded media, as upscaling the video from lower to higher resolution might reduce its quality.
If you choose to create a GIF, due to the technical limitations of GIF format, the resulting file will be as follows:
- The file resolution will be 480p.
- The file will have no sound.
- The color scheme will be up to 256 colors.
