Once your audio is added to the project, you can trim it, adjust its volume, and add fade-in fade-out effects.
To edit audio settings, click the correspondent element in the timeline. The selected element is outlined in yellow.
Trim audio
To trim the audio, do one of the following:
- In the timeline, drag the yellow handles of the audio element to specify the required duration.

In the audio settings section, click the Timing tab and set the start and end timestamps manually.
Adjust audio volume
To adjust the audio, click the Audio tab in the audio settings section, and then do one the following:
- To change the audio volume, drag the Volume slider.
- To add fade-in and fade-out effects, drag the corresponding sliders to specify the duration of fade effects (from 0 to 5 seconds).
- To make the speech in the audio clearer and reduce background noises (e.g.: wind, fan, etc.), toggle the Noise reduction switch.
Change audio speed
To slow down or speed up the audio, click the Speed tab and drag the slider to set a custom speed or select one of the speed presets: 0.25, 0.5, 0.75, 1.25, 1.5, or 2.
Remove audio
To remove the audio from the project timeline, select its thumbnail, and then do one of the following:
- At the top-left of the timeline, click the Delete icon.
- Press Delete or Backspace on your keyboard.
The file will be removed from your project but will stay in the Media section.
